The Melting Pot Offers Comforting Fondue Flavors Inspired by the Fall Season

TAMPA, Fla. – (Oct. 23, 2014) – The Melting Pot, the world’s premier fondue restaurant and a leading polished casual dining franchise, is celebrating the fall season with chef-inspired seasonal fondue flavors available for a limited time.

“On a crisp fall day when you crave warm, comforting food, fondue is always a good idea,” said The Melting Pot Chef Jason Miller. “This is the inspiration behind our latest seasonal creation, Pumpkin Pie White Chocolate Fondue, which has all the heartwarming flavors we can’t get enough of at this time of year.”

Limited-time fondue features choices inspired by the fall season include:

  • Lobster Cheese Fondue: A delicious blend of rich lobster and crab bisque, award-winning Butterkäse and fontina cheeses, cold water lobster meat, fresh lemon juice and scallions.
  • Fall Salad with Angry Orchard Vinaigrette: This salad truly brings out the flavors of fall with mixed greens, dried cranberries, Gorgonzola cheese crumbles and candied pecans, topped with house-made Angry Orchard Apple Cider Vinaigrette.
  • Pumpkin Pie White Chocolate Fondue: The Melting Pot’s signature white chocolate is blended with pure pumpkin purée and topped with shaved chocolate.

The Melting Pot also offers a suggested beverage pairing to complement each fondue feature item.

Guests who dine at The Melting Pot this fall will have an opportunity to donate $10 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to receive a Donate and Dine card valid for $20 off a future purchase of $50 or more at The Melting Pot. This offer is available through Dec. 14 and 100 percent of donations will be given directly to St. Jude to fund lifesaving research and treatment of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
